Accessibility
This statement describes the site’s features and known limitations. It does not claim conformance with an accessibility standard.
Our intent
This site is about belonging, and we want people to be able to use it however they read and navigate.
What's been built in so far
- A skip link for moving straight to the main content
- Text descriptions for meaningful images
- Labels on the booking form and the inactive newsletter signup, with required booking fields marked in words
- An activity sheets popup that can be closed with the Escape key and returns keyboard focus when opened from a link
- A web page describing each activity sheet, so the activities can be read without opening the PDF
- Reduced motion when your device asks for it
What hasn't been tested
This site hasn't been tested with a screen reader or by disabled users, and it hasn't been fully checked in Safari, Firefox or on real phones. Formspree's page after sending a booking request, links to other sites and the embedded video are outside this site's control.
The activity sheets PDF
The PDF is the original file, unchanged, and is made to be printed. It hasn't been tested with a screen reader or certified against any standard. Its images have no text descriptions, its reading order doesn't follow the page, and it has no fillable fields. The activity sheets page lists the details.
